Our mission
To support the publication of rigorous, ethical and openly accessible medical and healthcare research, with fair peer review and no barriers to readers.
Publishing principles
- Double-blind peer review by at least two independent reviewers.
- Editorial decisions are made on scholarly merit, independent of publisher interests and of any author payment.
- Article processing charges are requested only after acceptance, with waivers available. See Policies and APC.
- Follows COPE and ICMJE recommendations on publication ethics.
- All content is published open access under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence; authors retain copyright.
